I Know You Know – Gilly Macmillan
Decades ago, 11-year-old Scott and Charlie were found brutally murdered in the city of Bristol. The police hastily closed the case and convicted a man with a learning disability. The man always claimed his innocence until the moment of his suicide in prison. The suicide brings up the question of whether the man was guilty or not.
Charile and Scott’s friend Cody has never been the same since losing his close friends. So when the suicide stirs up the media, Cody decides to go back to Bristol and start a true crime podcast to investigate the case on his own.
But people around there are not too happy with this. They want the case buried. And then, when the body of another boy is found in the same place decades later, Detective Fleatcher must open up the case with his job on the line.
It’s an intriguing story with good pacing. The plot twists are well crafted, and this psychological thriller will be entertaining for everyone.
