Ryland Grace wakes up in a spaceship light years away from Earth. His only company are the two corpses of his crewmates.
He is the sole survivor on a desperate last-chance mission. The heavy duty of saving the earth and stopping the extinction of human species is on him. But he doesn’t know that yet. His memory is fuzzy; he cannot remember anything. And the current situation is far from stable in the spaceship. As he struggles to figure out his situation, his memories slowly come back in pieces. He realises there is an impossible puzzle ahead of him, and he must succeed in his mission to solve this scientific mystery.

This science fiction is thrilling and exciting from the very start. The characters are complex and likeable. Underneath the plot’s crisis, there is optimism and hope. The story is very much grounded in science, and the plot’s complexity is another reason for this story to be immensely enjoyable.
