The ABC Murders is a classic Agatha Christie mystery book, but at the same time, it is a bit different. This is the first Agatha Christie book where a serial killer is featured.
This is a Hercule Poirot mystery, and it’s told from his friend Hastings point of view.
Poirot gets a letter from someone challenging him, saying they can outsmart both Poirot and the police, and mentioning that there is going to be a murder of someone whose name starts with the letter A and who lives in a place that starts with the letter A. When Poirot tries to get the police’s attention to this letter, the police brush it off.
But soon the dead body is found, and quickly after that, two bodies whose names start with the letters B and C are found dead in places starting with the letters B and C. There are no clues at the crime scene except for an ABC railway guide.

A serial killer is making his way through the alphabet, and Poirot needs to identify and stop the murderer before there are 26 dead bodies.
This story is engaging from the first page, and it’s a classic Agatha Christie murder mystery with unpredictable twists that will keep you on the edge of your seat the whole time.
