Every year, she searches for the worst and most contemptible men at Gorman University and plots their demise. She is excellent at getting away with murder and is meticulous in her craft. But as the body count grows, the university starts an investigation. To keep her enemies close, she insinuates herself into the investigation and charms the woman in charge, Dr. Mina Pierce. Everything goes according to her plan until she loses control with her latest victim and her entire double life is at risk of exposure. Meanwhile, Carly Schiller is a freshman student at Gorman University. After years of emotional abuse from her father, she is finally able to get away from her family. She forms a close bond with her dorm roommate, Allison Hadley. But their relationship takes a turn when one night, Carly witnesses Allison getting sexually assaulted at a party, and Carly becomes obsessed with getting revenge and justice for her friend. This dual point of view story is well paced and, with jaw-dropping twists, it’s able to keep the reader engaged the whole time. It’s an interesting book for sure.
